Appendix A Failure and Troubleshooting

Unable to Locate All the Time

To check the part of antenna whether it is covered or not.

The unit shall be faced directly to sky and keep an included angle of 0-30 with a horizontal

plane.

Please keep far away from the source of transmission for radio wave.

An Error of Direction for Electric Compass

When batteries are replaced or the operating environment is changed, they will result in the

default value not suitable any more. Please calibrate the electric compass again.

Magnetic metal will disturb the electric compass. Please keep far away from magnetic metal

while operating.

The unit shall be kept horizontal as far as possible while using the electric compass.

An Error of Altimeter

Please calibrate altimeter again.
