2-3-2-2 Position Mark
l If you want to mark the current position and increase
a database of waypoints, select Mark icon on Menu
Page to activate Mark Page. The default value of
columns in Mark Page is your current position,
which can be saved or edited directly.
The methods to change values are as follows:
² In Select Mode (white on black):
The highlighted column is the target one (white on
black), in which the UP and DOWN key is used to
select the column to be edited and the ENTER key is
used to enter edit mode.
² In edit mode (black on yellow):
The UP and DOWN key is used to edit characters as
well as the LEFT and RIGHT key is used to select
characters to be edited. After completing the column
modification, press the ENTER key to end edit mode
and return to select mode (black on white)
l Be aware of using this function only when the unit
resolved your position.
l Data format:
² Name of Waypoint: 8 characters in length. Legal
characters are 0
… 9, A … Z and blank, the first
character of which must not be blank.
² Name of Route: 11 characters in length. Legal
characters are 0
… 9, A … Z and blank, the first
character of which must not be blank.
²
Waypoint names and route names do not have to be
unique, but we suggest not using duplicated names
to avoid confusing.
l Pressing the ENTER key for 3 seconds can also
mark your current position.
