If the CLI output shows a state of Failed, consult the ARX CLI Reference
show chassis chassinfo command for information on how to proceed.
Important
Power supplies are hot-swappable. The system can remain in service with
one power supply in the CP and one power supply in the DP.
If you have redundant power supplies installed in the CP and DP, a power
supply can be hot-swapped at any time.
If you have just one power supply installed in the CP or DP, before
removing or replacing the power supply, you must first take the system out
of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the system, turn off
the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power cords
from the system or wall outlet.
You must replace a power supply if it fails or if one of the fans integrated in
a power supply fails.
To replace a power supply:
1. Disconnect the AC power cord from the failed power supply.
2. Remove the power supply by pressing the green tab to the left and
pulling on the handle. See the following figure.

3. Insert the replacement power supply into the power supply cage
until it clicks into place.
