TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The planer won’t start.
• Make sure that
the mains lead is
undamaged and
properly connected
to the wall socket.
• Check that the wall
socket is live.
Poor performance.
The planer is overheated.
• Refer to the Chang-
ing blades section
above.
• Check that the
holes in the motor
housing ventilation
(2) are free from
debris.
The planer switches on
but the drum doesn’t
rotate.
• The drive belt is
defective. Refer to
the Changing the
drive belt section
above.
MAINTENANCE
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the neces-
sity for maintenance operations and will keep your
tool in good working condition. The motor must be
correctly ventilated during tool operation. For this
reason avoid blocking the air inlets.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste. Machine, accessories and pack-
aging should be sorted for environment -
friendly recycling. The plastic components
are labeled for categorized recycling.

electric power tools.
