Reset Button
The reset button is used to hard reset the switch. Use a non-conductive tool to push the
reset button.
Console Port
The console port (9-pin, “D” type connector) is used for connecting a terminal and
carrying out local management.
Modem Port
The modem port is used to connect a modem for remote access to the command line
interface (CLI).
Management Port
The management port (RJ-45 connector) is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection used for
out-of-band management.
PCMCIA Slot
The PCMCIA slot is reserved for future use.
