Locate the rudder, the rudder control horns and the 2 slotted base plates. As with
the elevators, use a sharp #11 blade to remove the covering from the 2 pre-cut slots
in the rudder.

Before applying epoxy, measure the control horns to ensure they are centered
properly and mark their location with a felt tipped marker. This will make it easy to
reinstall control horns when epoxy is applied.
