9. Maintaining the Meter

9.4. Storing the Meter

If the Meter is to be store for an extended period of time, charge the LI-ION battery pack
before storing. It is not necessary to remove the battery pack.

9.5. Calibration

The manufacturer may conduct the calibration and inspection. For more information, please
contact the manufacturer.

9.6. Replacing / Disposing of the LI-ION Battery

Warning!

To avoid electrical shock, remove the test leads and probes before replacing the battery
pack.

Caution

Handle the PCB Assembly by its edges or while wearing gloves.

Note

This instrument contains a LI-ION battery pack. Do not dispose of this battery pack with
other solid waste. Used batteries should be disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous
materials handler.
