PC Interface Operation

8.1. USB HID Device Installation

8.1.1. System Requirements

1) IBM or compatible Personal Computer (PC)
2) Windows

operating system

3) CD-ROM Drive
4) USB Port

8.1.2. Operating System

Microsoft Windows

XP or above

8.2. PC USB port Connection

1) Connect the USB cable to the meter and to the PC
2) Press and hold the I/O key for 1 to 2 seconds to power the meter

8.2.1. Human Interface Device

When the meter is connected to the PC and then powered up, the PC should display
"Found New Hardware" and automatically install the Human Interface Device (HID) driver.
HIDs do not require a custom USB driver (HIDs are built into the Windows

operating

system).
