Getting the best reception:
AM:
The stereo has a built-in ferrite aerial for AM reception. If reception is weak,
move or rotate the stereo for better reception.
FM:
Fold out the aerial and place it vertically. Experiment until you find the
best position.
9. Listening to a CD
1. Open the CD compartment by pushing the CD door down on the OPEN/CLOSE
marking. A click will be heard and the CD door will open.
2. Place a CD (Audio disc or CD-R/CD-RW) with the label side upwards in the
CD compartment.
3. Open the CD compartment by pushing the CD door down on the OPEN/CLOSE
marking. A click be heard when the CD door closes.
4. Select
CD
using the function selector. The display will briefly show “- - -”.
5. After a moment the total number of tracks will show on the display.
6. Press [PLAY/PAUSE] (13) to start playback. The first track should begin playback.
7. Pausing playback: Press [PLAY/PAUSE] (13). The current track number will
flash on the display. Press [PLAY/PAUSE] again to continue playback.
8. Press [STOP] (10) once to stop playback.
N.B.
The CD player will also stop whenever you: Open the CD door, select
AM - FM as the audio source or once the CD has finished playback.
9.1 Selecting a different track
1. During playback or in pause mode you can use [
] or [
] (11) to select
another track.
2. Press [
] (11) briefly to move to the next track, or press the required number
of times until the desired track number is shown in the display.
3. Press [
] (11) briefly to return to the current track. Press the required number
of times to return to a previously desired track.
