Defining and Running a Sequence of Wavelength/
Frequency and FWHM Values
The
Sequence Editor
function enables you to create a list of wavelength and FWHM
values that the XTA-50 will be able to execute without supervision.
An instruction is composed of:
•
a wavelength/frequency value
•
FWHM
•
duration of the instruction execution.
Each instruction can be triggered by a specific time. You can save, load and run
sequences you have created, as explained in this section.
4.3.1
Creating a Sequence
Procedure
1.
In the
Operating Mode
window, touch the
Sequence Editor
button.
The
Sequence Editor
window appears.

2.
Specify the wanted spectral unit by touching the
button.
•
In wavelength mode:
•
FWHM unit is pm (picometer).
•
Wavelength unit is nm (nanometer).
•
In frequency mode:
•
FWHM unit is GHz (gigahertz).
•
Frequency unit is THz (terahertz).
3.
Add instructions to the list by touching the following buttons.
Maximum instruction number is 200.
4.
For each instruction, specify the wanted values by touching the corresponding fields:
Button
Description
Adds an instruction before the first instruction displayed in the list
Adds an instruction at the end of the list.
Deletes the first instruction of the list.
Enables you to navigate through the list.
