Programming Controller Options (cont’d)
This option selects how long the screen will stay lit
before turning back off� Keep in mind that longer settings
sacrifi ce some battery life. To program:

Press the “P” button to access the options menu�

Scroll down until “Screen Lighting” is highlighted

Press the
button to select�
4)
Scroll to select the desired time interval�

SCREEN LIGHTING
The 2-way portion of the controller can be disabled com-
pletely to save battery life while traveling or out of range of
the vehicle� To set power save:
1)
Press the “P” button to access the options menu�
2)
Scroll down until “Power Save” is highlighted
3)
Press the
button to select�
4)
Scroll to select ON or OFF, whichever is desired�

Press the
button to select�
When Power Save mode is ON, you will not receive any
2-way confi rmations. Additionally, there will be a red X over
the “in range” indicator in the lower left corner of the status
screen (pictured to the left)�

SETTING THE CLOCK
1)
Press the “P” button to access the options menu�
2)
Scroll down until “Set Clock” is highlighted
3)
Press the
button to select�
4)
Scroll to highlight either 12 (AM/PM) or 24 hour format�
5)
Press the
button to select� (the hour is highlighted)
6)
Scroll to select the desired hour�
7)
Press the
button to select� (the hour is highlighted)

The hour digits will now be highlighted� Scroll to select
the desired hour�
8)
Press the
button to select�
9)
The minute digits will now be highlighted� Scroll to the desired minute setting�

Press the
button to select�

AM/PM will now be highlighted� Scroll to select the desired setting�
