5 Operation
5.0 Flushing and pumping out
The operation of the toilet is very easy. By simply pressing one of the two buttons (see pos. 5.1) on
the control panel, the flushing program will be started. The solenoid will be opened and water will
flow into the bowl. After a few seconds, the powerful centrifugal macerating pump will be started
to break down the waste and pump out the waste together with the water in the bowl. The
complete program will take 12-29 seconds.
5.1 Selecting water quantity (“ECOFLUSH” or “FULLFLUSH”)
The program offers the choice to flush the toilet with two water quantities. The two buttons on the
control panel offer the choice to flush with 3.4 – 6.2 ltrs of water. The choice of program may be
subject to availability of water.
When pressing the left button (ECOFLUSH) on the
control panel, the shorter programs will be started
and 3.4, 3.8, 4.2 or 4.9 ltrs of water will be used.
When pressing the right button (FULLFLUSH) on the control
panel, the longer programs will be started and 4.7, 4.9, 5.3 or
6.2 ltrs of water will be used.
5.2 Emergency operation
This toilet is equipped with an emergency button. With this button the pump can be activated to
empty the bowl without allowing water into the bowl first. This emergency operation can be used
when the water supply to the toilet is interrupted. When pouring water into the bowl by hand, the
toilet can still be used.
5.3 Reverse rotation
This toilet is equipped with a reverse rotation button. This button will allow you to reverse the
rotation of the pump. This may come handy in case the pump is blocked as a result of articles,
other than those that the toilet was designed for, being put into the toilet. By pressing this button,
the rotation of the pump is reversed and the debris that blocked the pump will be returned to the
bowl allowing you to remove it without taking the toilet apart. Test run the toilet again with just
water to make sure all debris has been pumped out.
