3 Installation
3.0 Foundation
The toilet is to be fitted on a foundation of sufficient strength. A weak foundation may bend and
cause breaking of the bowl; it may also increase the noise of pump action.
3.1 Installation of the toilet
In case the toilet is located close to the ships wall, it is advised to install the piping system and the
electrical wiring before the toilet is actually fitted. The toilet can be secured to the foundation by
using the stainless steel bracket supplied; a dimensional sketch of the bracket is shown below.

The location of the toilet is to be
determined first. This location is
to be marked on
the foundation
and the dimensions given
below will allow you to
do so quickly and
easily.

Secure the bracket to the
foundation.
•
Place the toilet over
the bracket and secure it,
using the two stainless
steel M6 bolts and the two
white plastic rings as supplied.
When fitting the toilet, the
position of the two securing holes
in the sides of the toilet should
match the (M6) threaded
holes in the vertical parts of the bracket. To avoid breaking of the bowl, it is important to
prevent direct contact between the stainless steel and the porcelain, using the white
plastic rings under the bolt’s head. For the same risk of breakage, the M6 bolts are not to be
secured too tight.

After tightening, the white caps supplied can be pushed over the head of the bolts, to
cover them.
