1st cycle
• Press torch trigger 1
, the gas pre-flow time elapses.
• HF ignition pulses jump from the electrode to the workpiece. The arc ignites.
• Welding current flows and immediately assumes the set ignition current
(search arc at minimum
setting). HF switches off.
2nd cycle
• Release torch trigger 1.
• The welding current ramps up to the main current AMP in the selected up-slope time
.
Pressing torch trigger 1 starts the slope
from main current AMP to secondary current
AMP%. Re-
leasing the torch trigger starts the slope
from the secondary current AMP% and back to the main cur-
rent AMP. This process can be repeated as frequently as required.
The welding process is stopped by interrupting the arc in the secondary current (remove the welding torch
from the workpiece until the arc is extinguished, no re-ignition).
