OPERATION

3.7.1. Selecting the Video Standard

VIDEO STANDARD

The

VIDEO STANDARD

menu item is used to set the video standard in

use. The current video standard can be displayed using the

VID

front

panel display.

When you select

auto

the HD9010TM will auto detect the video

standard and automatically reconfigure itself. The front panel

VID

display will show the word

AUTO

followed by an abbreviation of the

detected video standard.

You can also select the video standard manually.

Select

1080i/60

for operation with 1080i/59.94 or 1080i/60 video

conforming to SMPTE 274M.

Select

1080i/50

for operation with 1080i/50 video conforming to SMPTE

274M.

Select

1080p/24sF

for operation with 1080p/23.98 or 1080p/24 video

conforming to SMPTE 274M.

720p/60

for operation with 720p/59.94 or 720p/60 video

conforming to SMPTE 296M.
