You can use the Min/Max so ft key to toggle between adjus ti ng the minimum or maximum value of a
parameter’s range, as indicated by the white and green end cap markers. These Min/Max values only
apply to parameters mapped to a Func
ti on knob, not the Func ti on knob itself. To set a min/max value for
a Func ti on knob, use the Custom Map feature in the External Control se tti ngs.
As detailed earlier in the Custom Map se tti ngs, you can change the direc ti on of a parameter’s value by
inver ti ng the min/max end cap markers. This can be useful for having one Func ti on knob control mul ti ple
parameters that move in di ff erent direc ti ons.
Map: Press the Map so ft key to map speci fi c parameters to the selected Func ti on knob. The Map
view displays a condensed view of all the parameters in the FX Chain, allowing their selec ti on for
assigning to Func ti ons. The Add/Remove so ft key assigns/unassigns the parameter of the selected
Func ti on.
Highlight the Func ti on knob on the le ft side of the display.
Use the cursor up/down keys to select which of the eight Func ti ons to work with.
A list of available parameters will appear; use the cursor up/down keys to highlight the Func ti on
you wish to map.
Press the
Add/Remove or Enter key; the highlighted parameter is now mapped to the Func ti on
knob you had selected, and that Func ti on’s number (e.g., F1) now appears on the le ft side of that
parameter’s entry in the list.
If a Func
ti on is already mapped to a parameter you have highlighted, pressing the Add/Remove
so ft key will remove the mapping.
External Control: Press the External Control so ft key to map external controllers to any given
Func ti on knob.
