3. Secure child restraint to the vehicle seat.

4. Check your work.
To properly protect your child, the carrier
MUST

move more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) from
side-to-side or from front-to-back at the
vehicle belt path.

• Strangulation Hazard: Child can strangle in loose restraint straps.
Never leave child in carrier when straps are loose or undone.
• The child restraint can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate your child. Never place this child
restraint on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
• Never place this child restraint near the edges of counter tops, tables, or other elevated
surfaces. The child's movements can cause the child restraint to slide.
• To prevent an accident
or injury to your child, never place child restraint in any position in a shopping cart.
• Pull up on the child restraint when locking on to base to ensure
it is securely fastened into the base.
• DO NOT USE WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS!
