Disk- HD Configuration

1. To format your USB hard disk in EXT3 format, click “

Yes

” to execute HD Format.

Caution:

All files within the hard disk will be erased while HD Format is executed.

Note:

1.

The HD Format function formats the USB disk on USB Port I only. To format
the USB storage device on Port II, please see

“To Format Your USB

Storage device”

2.

The Hard Disk will be formatted as EXT3 format. Please note that Windows
cannot recognize EXT3. If the USB hard drive is likely to connect to your
Windows operation system, please format this USB Hard drive on your
Windows before connecting to this product.

2. After confirmation for HD formatting, the system starts formatting the hard disk.

It may take several minutes according to the storage size of your hard disk.
Please wait and

DO NOT

execute other configuration for this device while

formatting.
