9.11 RTC (Real Time Clock)
The ReliaGATE 10-14 includes the following two RTC (Real Time Clocks) devices:

9.11.1 The RTC Devices
The ReliaGATE 10-14 includes two Real Time Clocks; however, the internal RTC is not recommended for
use in applications.
Three timestamp registers are available, which report:

The time the RTC changed to battery powered
l
The last time the RTC changed to system power
l
The last time the tamper detect was triggered
9.11.2 The RTC backup supercap
The ReliaGATE 10-14 includes a non-removable supercap.
The RTC backup supercap can retain the time-stamp for at least 10 days when the ReliaGATE 10-14 is
powered OFF.
NOTE: this is only valid above -25°C; below this value the supercap retention time will be lower.
9.12 Case Intrusion

The tamper event timestamp registers are exposed through the RTC
/dev/rtc1
A user-defined script will be called when an intrusion event is detected during runtime, or on boot for an
event detected whilst powered off.
9.13 TPM
The ReliaGATE 10-14 includes a TPM 2.0 hardware module: Infineon SLB9670. This is connected to the
CPU via an SPI interface.
The TPM can be managed via the ‘tpm2_*’ utilities in Linux.
9.14 Watchdog
The ReliaGATE 10-14 uses the CPU’s internal watchdog to provide a system reset when software
becomes unresponsive.
