(b) How to REFILL the BOILER
•
Make sure that both the iron switch (Fig. 2, ”A”) and boiler switch (Fig. 2, “B”) are in
the “off” position.
•
Make sure that the boiler is unplugged.
•
Make sure that any remaining steam in the boiler has been released through the iron as
described in (a) above.
•
Unscrew the water cap, turning the cap (Fig. 1) slightly counterclockwise, slowly. If
any steam continues to escape, stop, plug in boiler and turn the iron switch on to release
the steam through the iron as described in (a) above.

After making sure that any remaining steam in the boiler has been released, slowly
remove the water cap. Slowly pour in up to 77 oz of tap water. Do not overfill.
•
Screw on the water cap by turning clockwise. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
D. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Once a month (or more frequently if you have hard water), before art of work when the boiler
containing old water is cold and un pressurized , (1) shake the boiler (to loosen debris inside);
(2) open the water cap and pour out old water; (3) rinse the boiler with fresh water, and (4)
refill the boiler with fresh tap water.
E. IRONING OPERATION
1. Run the iron on garments, pressing the micro-switch of the iron for steam (Fig. 4). For delicate,
blue or black garments, use Teflon shoe.
2. For delicate, blue or black garments, use teflon shoe.
3. During ironing operation, always put the iron on its rubber iron rest (Fig. 1).
4. For dry ironing (with no steam), it is possible to adjust the thermostat (Fig. 3) on different
positions according to the type of fabric (look at garment label). For steam ironing, set the
thermostat on “cotton” or “linen”.
5. When Mini Boiler with Iron is used with a non-vacuum board, some circular water spots might
form. In this case, reduce the steam flow through the knob for steam adjustment (Fig. 2). It is
recommended to use the mini boiler with iron with a vacuum and heated ironing board.
