DMX operation
Setting the number of DMX channels and the DMX starting address
For operation with a controller with DMX512 protocol, the device is equipped with 8 control channels.
However, it can also be switched to a mode with 1, 3, 4, 5 or 7 channels if different functions are required. To
be able to operate the device with a DMX controller, the DMX starting address must be set. The starting
address depends upon which DMX controller is being used. Please refer to the controller’s documentation.

Press the button

so many times until the
menu structure
is indicated in the display. Use
UP
and
DOWN
to select
DMX
. Confirm 2 x with the ENTER button.

select the desired number of DMX channels. Confirm with

Now the display indicates the menu item for the DMX start address. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons to
set the address. Confirm with
ENTER

When receiving DMX signals, the DMX address in the display lights green. If no control signals are
available, the DMX address lights up red.

You can adjust the behavior in case of missing DMX signal in the system settings under the menu item
SETTINGS > DMX Fail
:
HOLD
= Most recent DMX value is held or
BLACK
= LEDs are switched off.
Note: Please make sure you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each device correctly
and independently from any other fixture in the DMX chain. If several devices are addressed similarly, they
work synchronically.
The LED-Spots of the device are arranged in
the following order (see graphic) and can be
individually controlled with the following DMX
protocol.
