Euphonix CS3000/2000 Operation Manual

As mentioned earlier, the two EQs may be linked together to form a stereo
pair. When in the EQ menu, press the [

*ST

] key on the Master Control Panel.

When stereo linked, both EQs are adjusted in tandem to give you a true stereo
4-band parametric. At any time you can unlink the two EQs by pressing the
[

*ST

] key again. When the two EQs are working in stereo, the SmartDisplay

indicates this with a “

*

”.

In addition, the screen display indicates “Stereo EQ 1” instead of “EQ 1” on
the EQ title bar.

When you stereo link EQs by pressing the [

*ST

] key, all of the parameters of

the selected EQ are copied into the other EQ. For example, if EQ1 is selected
when you press the [

*ST

] key, EQ1’s curve is copied into EQ2. Likewise, if EQ2

is selected when you press the [

*ST

] key, EQ2’s curve is copied into EQ1.

Select EQ2’s source in a similar manner by pressing the EQ•Dyn 2 attention
key then the [

M2

] Source Dedicated Key. As before, this routing selection is

also seen in the far right of the SmartDisplay within the insert icon.

The EQ may be switched in and out of circuit by pressing [

F4

] or by pressing

the rightmost of the 4 Function keys just below the Assignable Rotary Control
Set. (See the Introduction Section.)
