Tilting the Bicycle Carrier,
Access to the Boot

The boot lid could hit the bicycle carrier and be
damaged.
Damage to property due to boot lid opening.
Injury to people or damage to property possible by
folding up.
Body parts or objects that are between the
carrier and the vehicle may be crushed.
Injury to people or damage to property due to
sudden folding down.
Body parts or objects that are under or in
front of the carrier when it is folded down
may be crushed.
Switch off electric boot lids and operate
manually.

Ensure that there is nothing between the carri-
er and the vehicle.

Ensure that there is nothing under the carrier.

Fold down the bicycle carrier before opening
the boot lid.

Remove everything from the space between
the carrier and the vehicle.

Watch out for your body and particularly your
head; maintain a safe distance.

Release the lock (1.). Hold the carrier on the
U-bracket when folding down (2.). Release the
lock with a foot (3.) and tilt the carrier down
with a hand.
