1.  Switch on the hob and select the desired cooking zone.
2.   Touch and hold the slide control for at least 3 seconds at the desired level (from 1 to 8).

An ‘A’ appears in the display alternating with the selected power level. 

 

▷

When the automatic heat-up time has expired, you will hear an audio signal and the 
cooking zone will switch automatically to the selected level which will show permanently 
on the display.

3.  Stop the automatic heating function by selecting the cooking zone and setting a lower 

power level.

The automatic heat-up function also stops:
•  if power level 9 is selected;
•  if a power level is selected at which the heat-up time has already elapsed (for example, 

power level 7 or 8).

Pause function

You can pause cooking instead of switching off the hob. This function temporarily stops the 
cooking activity (max. 10 minutes); timers are also paused. The hob will switch off if the pause 
function is not switched off within 10 minutes.

1.  Touch the pause key.

An animation will appear in the cooking zone displays and the indicator light above the 
pause key comes on. The hob is now in pause mode.

 

▷

Only the on/off key and the pause key will be active. 

2.  Touch the pause key again to switch off the pause function.

The cooking process and timers will start again.
