Switching on the keep warm function

Use this function to keep food warm directly after cooking (at approximately 72 °C). It is also 
possible to heat up food (up to about 72 °C) with this function.
•  This will avoid liquids overflowing and burning on the bottom of the pan.
•  This function can be started independently on all cooking zones.
•  When the pan is removed from the cooking zone, the “Keep warm” function remains active 

for approximately 10 minutes. The maximum duration of “keeping warm” is 2 hours.

1.  Switch on the hob and select the desired cooking zone. 
2.  Touch the keep warm key.

The keep warm symbol ‘u’ appears in the display. The keep warm function is selected. 

3.  Select the cooking zone key and touch the keep warm key to switch off the keep warm 

function.

Setting ‘1’ appears on the display.

The keep warm function also stops if you set a different power level with the slider or if you 
select a different function for the respective cooking zone.

Switching on the automatic heat-up function

This function sets the cooking zone at the highest level in order to bring your pan rapidly up to 
the required temperature. After a given time interval, the power level returns to the established 
level. This function is available for power level 1 to 8.
