Motor connector
Warning:
High voltage may be present on the motor connector.
Before connecting or disconnecting the motor cable or touching the controller,
turn
off all the power supplies
and wait 10 minutes
to allow the internal DC bus
capacitors to discharge.
Caution:
The motor connector must be insulated (no contact) from the power and the mains.
The motor connector must always be correctly screwed onto the DSC2P to respect
the EMC standard.
Caution:
The motor connector must be handled in an ESD protected environment, only.
Remark:
The motor cable connected to the DSC2P must be shielded (see
§3.7.1
).
3.4.1
ETEL motor cable numbering system
ETEL standard motors cables are numbered according to the following system:
3.4.2
Connector JC7: Motor connection
The DSC2P can drive single-phase, two-phase and three-phase motors. Connector JC7 enables the supply of
the motor phase(s).
(*): With two-phase motor, the current in 'motor phase 1- / 2-' is equal to (
√
2 x motor phase 1+) or (
√
2 x motor
phase 2+). Be careful to use the suitable cable diameter.
