Cleaning and maintenance
Check and remove ash accumulations
Carefully remove both inlay sheets.

Inspect the inner walls of the precipitator for ash accu-
mulations. Cleaning is not functioning correctly if there
is too much ash on the inner walls or on the electrodes.
The cause must be found and eliminated.
Use the cleaning brush to carefully scrape the ash ac-
cumulations from the inner walls. Especially the area
above the sliding rakes.

Do not damage or bend the electrodes during
cleaning.

Clean the flushing air opening
Vacuum out the opening for the electrode flushing air
on the isolator on the inside of the precipitator.

Do not clean the opening with compressed air,
because this will stir up the ash, which can end up
in the precipitator control system and cause damage.
