Information for installation
The mixing valve also allows the use of residual heat.
If the buffer bottom is cooler than the boiler after the
fire has gone out, the boiler control system re-opens
the mixer and switches on the boiler pump to exploit
the residual heat.
Insulate pipelines at the buffer
The pipes to and from the storage tank should be
insulated to minimise heat loss. The recommended
insulation thicknesses are visible in the following table.
