Activity Timer
The Control Panel (CP) has a feature called the Activity Timer. The activity timer monitors activity daily during
pre-defined periods. The Activity Timer can be set for two (2) sessions per day, either locally or remotely by
the Monitoring Station.
If no activity is detected (timeout), the CP generates an “Inactivity” event report to the Monitoring Station.
The Activity Timer can be enabled or disabled by pressing the
RESET
button for five (5) seconds.
To reset the Activity Timer, press the
RESET
button or trigger any peripheral.
NOTE:
The Activity Timer feature may be disabled locally or by the Monitoring Station.
The ring around the
EMERGENCY
button is the Activity Timer indicator.
n
When the Activity Timer is enabled, the Activity Timer Indicator lights blue.
n
When the Activity Timer is disabled, the indicator remains OFF.
n
The Activity Timer Indicator blinks and sounds a short beep every ten seconds until 15 minutes before
the monitoring period ends.

Once the telephone rings, press any Emergency button (on the CP or on one of the Emergency peripherals)
to initiate a full-duplex conversation.
To terminate the call, press any Emergency button again (on the CP or on one of the Emergency peripherals)
In the case of an emergency, press the Emergency button again.
