Caution:
Do not use the SK2 with smoke detector guards unless the usage has
been evaluated and found suitable for the SK2.
3.1.
Testing the SK2
To test the SK2 and ensure the installation is successful, perform the following procedure:
Pull the smoke alarm downward to make sure it is securely attached to the mounting bracket.

WARNING!
To prevent injury, the SK2 must be securely attached to the ceiling
(or wall) in accordance with the installation instructions.
Press the
TEST/MUTE
button, as shown in Figure 10 below, until the alarm sounds.
2.
The SK2 emits an alarm if the unit is working properly.
