1.3 START-UP
1.3.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
Please fully charge your device‘s battery before initial use. The Erkameter
125 PRO has a permanently installed lithium polymer battery with no
memory effect. You can charge the battery at any time without having to
consider discharge times. A full charge is performed in two steps and takes
up to four hours.
The mains connector has to be fitted with the relevant plug adapter for
the specific country.
Then connect the USB connection to the device using the enclosed
USB cable. The other end of the USB cable then has to be connected
to the mains connector before this is inserted in the socket.

The recharge-
able battery is a lithium-ion battery with no memory effect. You can
charge the battery at any time without having to consider discharge times.
A fully charged battery is sufficient for seven days of recording.
The battery may only be charged at an ambient temperature of 10-45°C.
Do not charge the battery in direct sunlight or on a heater.
1.3.2 SWITCHING YOUR DEVICE ON AND OFF
To switch the device on, hold down the ERKA. -Button for about
3 seconds. The device switches off automatically after about 30 seconds
if no other buttons are pushed. It can also be switched off in the start
screen by pressing the OFF icon.
