Setting Up BISS from the Front Panel

To set up BISS encryption service from the front panel:

Note:

When a value needs to be changed using the front panel, the existing value
needs to be deleted using the

Del

key, before a new value can be entered

using the keypad.

1. If you want to use

BISS Mode-E

navigate to

Advanced>System>Base Unit

the front panel and set the

BISS injected ID

(

14 hexadecimal characters

)

using the keypad.

2. Navigate to the required output service (

Output > Transport Stream ID >

Service List > Service n

and scroll down to

BISS Key

. Enter the required key

location (1 to 31).
