3.7.1

Transparent mode option (S0502A)

When this option is installed, the management of RI and CTS signals is different from standard mode.

3.7.1.1

CTS signal

When the GSM module is in Power OFF, the CTS signal does not remain fix. (see Figure 15 : ).

When the module is in Power OFF, the reception of a character on TDX wakes up the module
(Power ON) but the character is lost.
The module switches back to Power OFF more or less 9.2 s after reception of the last character.

3.7.1.2

RI signal

The signal RI indicates with its rhythm either an incoming call or the reception of a SMS.
