Operators Manual ES-650PIA

Operating instructions

Before using your leaf and waste vacuum cleaner, make

sure that

•

the unit is placed on a firm, level surface,

•  the collecting bag is hooked in,

•  the suction trunk is adjusted to the correct height,

•  the fuel tank is full,

•  the throttle lever is set to “STOP/MIN”.

Start the machine:

•  Set the choke lever to “CLOSE”,

•  Set the fuel tap to “ON”,

•  Set the stop switch to “ON”,

•  Pull the starter rope - engine running -,

•  Set the choke lever to “OPEN”,

•  Slowly set the throttle lever to “full throttle”.

Warning:

Highly flammable substances (e. g. embers,

hot barbecue coal) can ignite when you hit a

hot surface.

Risk of injury due to light

flammable substances.

Installing the collecting bag

•   If you use a dust cover in addition to the dust bag, this

must be put in first. Slide the smaller opening of the

black dust cover over the frame of the rolling bag. Pull

the edge over the upper frame of the rolling bag with

the elastic band. Then insert the bag with the closed

side first into the dust cover and pull the edge over the

upper frame of the rolling bag with an elastic band. Now

you can push the Rolling Bag with collecting bag under

the handle of the leaf and waste vacuum cleaner from

behind and fix it with the quick release fastener.

Empty the collection bag

•  Shut down the motor before removing the rolling bag

or collecting bag.

•  Push the Rolling Bag upwards and release the locking

lever (note pawl). Lower the rolling bag and pull out of

the leaf vacuum. Remove the bag and empty it or tip

over the rolling bag and pour out the waste or leaves.

The coupling is done in reverse order.

Insert wet collection bag

•  Proceed exactly the same way when inserting the wet

collection bag as when installing the leaf sack.

DANGER:

Never operate the leaf and waste suction unit

without a collection bag.

Stop the engine before opening or removing

the bag.

Risk of serious injuries.

Shutting down the machine

•  Set the throttle lever to “STOP/MIN,

•

Set the stop switch to “Off”,

•  Set fuel tap to “OFF”.

In an Emergency Situation

•  Remove drive (ES-620, ES-640PIA),

•  Set the stop switch to “OFF”.
