4.1.5.4 ST1 Board Setting-Up
1. Drop one spare soldering to the indicated red spot in the Figure
4-11, which is on the shield case of the front face of ST1 board.
2. Solder the cable for prevention of radiation (black cable; about 4
cm) to the soldering point nearest to the video terminal on the
reverse face of ST1 board.
3. Solder the black cable (about 3.5 cm) for prevention of radiation to
the soldering point, which is located at the under the serial I/F
connector on the reverse face of the CA2 board by using the
soldering iron.

C A U T I O N
„
The spare soldering point dropped at the Step 1 is to
fix the cable for prevention of radiation (about
2.5cm), which comes out of the shield case of the
CA2 board, after connecting the ST1 board and CA2
board.

The end of the cable for prevention of radiation at the
Step 2 should be fixed at one of the 6 soldering
points, which are to fix the shield case located at the
reverse face of CA1 board. This particular soldering
point is explained later.
