4. Select
Picture
from the Insert
menu, then select
From File
.
(In some applications, you
may need to select a different
command, such as
Import
Picture
, which is usually in the
File menu.) A file selection
dialog box appears.
5. Locate and select the image you want to insert. In some applications you can see a
preview of your picture.
6. Click
OK
(or
Insert
,
Import
, or
whatever command your
application uses) to insert your
picture. The picture appears in
your document.
Getting Images With Copy and Paste
You can use this method to place a picture in just about any type of document or
project. Follow these steps:
