Integrated Peripherals

Choose the INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS in the CMOS SETUP UTILITY to

display the following screen. This menu allows the user to modify the various
integrated controllers, ports, and devices onboard the mainboard.

Note:

If you do not use the Onboard IDE connector, then you will need to

set Onboard Primary PCI IDE: Disabled and Onboard Secondary PCI
IDE: Disabled

Note:

The Onboard PCI IDE cable should be equal to or less than 18 inches

(45 cm.).

OnChip IDE Channel0:

 The default value is Enabled.

Enabled: Enables Onboard IDE primary port.
Disabled: Disables Onboard IDE primary port.

OnChip IDE Channel1:

 The default is Enabled.

Enabled: Enables Onboard IDE secondary port.

Disabled: Disables Onboard IDE secondary port.

IDE Prefetch Mode:

  Enable prefetching for IDE drive interfaces that support its

faster drive accesses.  If you are getting disk drive errors, change the setting to

omit the drive interface where the errors occur. Depending on the configuration
