Manual Pool Configuration Considerations

•

issued

 

should

 

be

 

on

same

 

subnet

 

as

 

the

 

ingress

 

interface

 

(that

 

is,

 

the

 

subnet

 

of

 

the

 

host

 

IP

 

address

 

of

 

the

 

switch,

 

or

 

if

 

routing

 

interfaces

 

are

 

configured,

 

the

 

subnet

 

of

 

the

 

routing

 

interface).

A

 

manual

 

pool

 

can

 

be

 

configured

 

using

 

either

 

the

 

client’s

 

hardware

 

address

 

(

set

 

dhcp

 

pool

 

hardware

‐

address

)

 

or

 

the

 

client’s

 

client

identifier
