DESCALING
After working for 500cycles, the appliance will enter descaling alarming, Cappuccino and Latte
indicator blink in turn.
Notes:
It is allowed to descale the appliance manually before 500 cycles as following steps.
1. Fill water tank with 400 ml white vinegar and 600 ml of water. We recommend the use of
the specific product Decal for the appliance, which can be found in specialized shops and
authorized technical services.
2. Fit milk tank to housing and turn froth control knob to the position ‘
Clean’.
3. Switch on the appliance. Put a suitable large, empty container on the drip tray grid.
4. Press
Espresso/Extra
button and
Latte
button at the same time, the appliance will enter
descaling mode. 6 indicators blink in sequence, the appliance starts descaling for about 40
minutes.
5. Descaling is completed when 6 indicators illuminate.
6. Empty water tank and clean with tap water.
7. Fill clean water in water tank and milk tank, make 2 cups of espresso and 2 cups of latte
continuously without adding coffee following
