CLEANING AND CARE
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
Live parts. There is a risk of
electric shock/short circuit.
Switch off the appliance and, if necessary, dis-
connect the mains adapter from the socket and
the appliance plug from the appliance.
Empty the dust container, clean the dust filter and cyclone attachment ideally after every
use but at the latest when the fill level of the dust container has reached the
MAX
mark-
ing. Clean the suction openings as required.
Do not use any solvents or caustic/gaseous cleaning agents to clean the appliance’s
surfaces and accessories. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Cleaning the dust container
We recommend emptying the dust container and cleaning the filter after every use. Carry
out the following steps:
The appliance is switched off.
Press the release button above the handle.
Remove the dust container from the motor base.
Remove the dust filter by pulling on the grooved tab.
Remove the cyclone attachment by reaching into its opening and pulling it out.
Empty the dust container over a dustbin.
Rinse the dust container and cyclone filter with water and clean the dust filter thor-
oughly under running water. It is not necessary to rinse with water every time. Never
put the dust container in the dishwasher!
Once the dust container, cyclone attachment and filter are dry again, place them back
into the filter housing and fit the cyclone attachment with filter into the dust contain-
er properly so that the dust container filter seal closes.
Information on assembling the dust filter (see section „Preparations for use“
on page 43).
