Note!
• The sensor is ready for operation after approx. 30 to 50 minutes. Calibrate the sensor before
measuring.
• If measuring very low concentrations (< 0.5 %SAT), let the sensor sit overnight and calibrate
it the following morning.
• The electrolyte must be absolutely free of air bubbles for measurements under pressure.
Immerse the sensor head into the
cleaner solution up to, and including,
the counterelectrode for 1 to 3 min-
utes.
Rinse the sensor head with plenty of
deionized water.
Water the counterelectrode for at
least 10 minutes (deionized water).
Remove the sensor from the water
and gently shake off drops of water.
Fill a new membrane cap with elec-
trolyte solution (up to the thread).
Remove air bubbles by gently tapping
the unit with a pencil or similar uten-
sil.
Rinse the sensor head with plenty of
electrolyte solution.
Hold the sensor at an angle and screw
on the membrane cap. Excess electro-
lyte flows out of the venting area (1).
Now take a look at the face of the
sensor. There should be no air bub-
bles within the dotted circle. Air bub-
bles in other areas are not a problem.
