} Define a new configuration. To do so, click on the [New] button in the Select config-
uration area.
} Enter a name for the new configuration in the Configuration name window. Confirm
via [OK] .
ü You have defined a new device configuration.
Defining new services
} In the Services area, click on [New] . The Add a new service window opens. Define
the following services:
– Interface service
– Device service

Define a new interface service. To do so, select RS232 (Plugin) in the Driver drop-
down list.

In the Service drop-down list, select Serial port .

Assign the internal name "RS232_Carry" to the serial interface. Use the specified
name to ensure that the scripts are interchangeable. Confirm your entries with
[OK] .

Click on [New] to open the Add a new service window again.
