Optional Power Supply Specifications
Customers providing their own power supply will need to meet these
specifications. This will prevent damage to the printer server and ensure
reliable operation.
CAUTION: For European installations, compliance with
the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC requires the
use of Emulex power supply accessories.

One of the following equipment or installation conditions is required for UL
approval:
Either:

Connect the equipment to a +5 VDC power source that is electrically
isolated from the AC source. The +5 VDC source is to be reliably
connected to earth ground.
Or:
•
Connect the equipment to a +5 VDC SELV source.
Emulex offers the following power supply accessories:
•
Universal:
90 - 260 VAC, 50/60Hz input. Requires user supplied
detachable input power cord to match local power outlet configuration.
Conforms to CSA, UL and TUV or VDE requirements.
•
VDE:
230VAC, 50Hz input. Conforms to VDE or TUV requirements.
•
Australian:
240 VAC, 50Hz input. Conforms to SAA requirements.
•
United Kingdom:
240 VAC, 50 Hz input. Plug conforms to EN60950
requirements.
