coming out of the appliance, even if it is disconnected from
the mains power supply. Do not insert fingers or other
objects into the unit. Do not climb on the unit. Do not place
objects on top of the unit.
It is forbidden to open the access doors to the internal parts
of the appliance without first turning the main switch of the
system to “off”.
It is forbidden to disperse and leave the packaging material
within reach of children, as it can be a potential source of
danger.
Remember that the use of products that use electricity and water
involves the observance of some basic safety rules such as:
Children and unattended disabled persons are forbidden
from using the appliance.
It is forbidden to touch the appliance if you are barefoot
and with wet or damp body parts.
Any cleaning operation is forbidden, before disconnecting
the appliance from the electrical power supply by turning
the main switch of the system to “off”.
It is forbidden to modify the safety or adjustment devices
without the authorisation and indications of the manufac-
turer of the appliance.

The installation of the appliances must be carried out by an
authorised company that issues a declaration of conformity
to the system manager at the end of the work in complian-
ce with the Standards in force and the indications provided
in this manual.
Install the equipment according to the instructions in this
manual; if the installation is not performed correctly there
may be a risk of water leakage, electric shock or fire.
It is recommended to use only the components specifically
intended for the installation supplied; the use of compo-
nents other than these may cause water loss, electric shock
or fire.
Check the installation media for good condition. Do not
place the unit on a slope to avoid leakage or malfunction.
Electrical connections must be made in accordance with
the instructions contained in the installation manual and
the practical rules governing the connections of electrical
equipment at national level; insufficient capacity or incom-
plete electrical connections could cause electric shock or
fire.
For the electrical connection, use a cable of sufficient length
to cover the entire distance, without any connection; do
not use extensions; do not apply other loads on the power
supply but use a dedicated power supply circuit (otherwise,
there may be a risk of overheating, electric shock or fire).
For electrical connections, use the specified types of cables;
securely secure the interconnecting cables so that the
respective terminals are not subjected to external stresses;
incomplete connections or fixings may cause overheating
or fire.
After connecting the interconnecting and power cables,
make sure that the cables are arranged in such a way as not
to exert excessive forces on the covers or on the electrical
panels; put the covers on the cables; any incomplete con-
nection of the covers can cause overheating of the termi-
nals, electric shock or fire.
In case of water leakage, turn the main switch of the system
to “off” and close the water taps. Call promptly the Technical
Assistance Service, or professionally qualified personnel
and do not intervene personally on the appliance.
This instruction manual is an integral part of the appliance
and must therefore be stored carefully and must ALWAYS
accompany the appliance even if it is sold to another owner
or user or transferred to another system. In case of dama-
ge or loss, request another copy from the local Technical
Support Service.
Make sure that the ground connection is made; do not
ground the appliance on distribution pipes, surge arresters
or on the ground of the telephone system; if not performed
correctly, the ground connection may cause electric shock;
momentary high intensity overcurrents caused by lightning
or other causes could damage the ITM-200 B “ECHO Hydro
Kit” module.
