This screen is used to name, activate and configure the selected generic 

alarm. To do so, proceed as follows: 

• 

In the “Configuration of Generic Alarm n” box, select the appropriate 
alarm name in the drop-list menu of the Alarm Name field. 

• 

In the “Configuration of Generic Alarm n” box, select the appropriate 
alarm severity in the drop-list menu of the Alarm Severity field. 

• 

In the “Configuration of Generic Alarm n” box, select the appropriate 
alarm LED color in the drop-list menu of the Alarm LED field. 

• 

Click on the 

 button to validate the above entries. 

 

Each generic alarm can be triggered by up to ten alarm conditions. Conditions 

2 to 10 can be reported in an AND (&) or OR (

I

) fashion with respect to the 

first condition. 

• 

Select the appropriate alarm name in the drop-list menu for the first 
alarm condition. 

• 

If a second alarm condition is to be reported, select the appropriate 
alarm name in the drop-list menu for the first alarm condition, then 
select whether the two alarms will be reported in an AND (&) or OR (

I

) 

fashion in the drop-list menu of the second field, as illustrated in screen 
37. 

• 

If a third alarm condition is to be reported, select the appropriate alarm 
name in the drop-list menu for the second alarm condition (third field), 
then select whether it will be reported in an AND ( & ) or OR ( 

I 

) 

fashion in the drop-list menu of the fourth field. 

• 

And so on for the other alarm conditions, as applicable. 

• 

Click on the
