OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PUTTING A POT/PAN ON THE CERAMIC PLATE
• Ensure that the ventilation openings are free from obstructions. Keep cooking
implements away from the immediate vicinity of the ceramic plate.
• Ensure that the pot/pan has food and/or liquid in it. Place it in the centre of
the ceramic plate.
PLUGGING INTO A POWER OUTLET
• There is an audible signal when the power supply is connected. An “L” appears
on the display. This means that the induction hotplate is in stand-by mode.
TURNING THE INDUCTION HOTPLATE ON
• Press the “ON/STAND-BY” control. The induction hotplate is now ready for use.
To put the induction hotplate into heating mode, press the “Function” control.
• If you press the “ON/STAND-BY” control and then do not press any other control
within 10 seconds, the induction hotplate switches off automatically.
• If you press the “Function” control and the correct sort of pot/pan is not on the
ceramic plate, the hotplate does not heat up and there is an audible signal to
remind you to put a pot/pan on the hotplate. If you do not do this, the induction
hotplate switches off automatically after one minute.
USING THE FUNCTION CONTROL
• When you have turned the induction hotplate on, press the “Function” control
to set the temperature or power level.
To adjust the power level, press the “+” or “-” control.
To adjust the temperature, press the “+” or “-” control.
