1.4 WARNINGS FOR USE
• Do not disassemble or reassemble the freezer, nor damage the refrigerant
circuit. Maintenance of the appliance must be carried out by a specialist.
• A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, the
manufacturer’s maintenance department or suitably qualified professionals in
order to avoid danger.
• The gaps between the freezer door and cabinet are small; avoid placing
fingers in these areas to prevent trapping. Close the freezer door gently to
prevent items from falling over.
• To avoid frostbite, do not pick foods or containers out of the freezing chamber
compartment with your bare hands when the freezer is running, especially
metal containers.
• Do not allow children to get inside or climb on top of the freezer,
otherwise they may suffocate or fall.
• Do not spray or wash the freezer; do not place the freezer in a damp
area where it could easily be splashed with water, otherwise it could
impair the electrical insulation properties of the freezer.
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the freezer, as such objects could
fall and cause an injury when the door is opened.
• Please unplug the freezer in the event of a power cut or when cleaning
the freezer. Do not reconnect the freezer to the power supply within five
minutes of switching off, to prevent damage to the compressor due to
rapid restarting.
1) The freezer may not operate consistently if located for an extended period of time below the
cold end of the range of temperatures for which the freezer appliance is designed.
2) Effervescent drinks should not be stored in food freezer compartments, and some products
such as water ices should not be consumed too cold.
3) Do not exceed the storage time recommended by the food manufacturers for any kind of food
and particularly for commercially quick-frozen food kept in the freezer and frozen-food storage
compartments or cabinets.
4 ) Avoid any undue rise in the temperature of frozen food while defrosting the freezer, for
example by wrapping the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.
5) Any rise in temperature of the frozen food during manual defrosting, maintenance or cleaning
could shorten its storage life.
