7.8 Firmware ID request
Firmware identification request command
The host must send the following sequence:
i
followed by
CR
where: i is the character Hex 69
The TZM443 matrix will respond:
i
(Hex 69)
Z
high byte identifying the firmware release (Hex 5A)
X
low byte identifying the firmware release (from Hex 30 to Hex 39)
CR
Example:
If the firmware release of the TZM443 is 1.0, the matrix will respond: 69 5A 30 0D
7.9 Global mode Request
In addition to the configuration of the audio and video crosspoints, the GLOBAL MODE
request allows you to know some machine conditions described below.
The host must be sent with the following sequence:
d
followed by
CR
where:
d is the character Hex 64
The matrix responds with a sequence of 8 c 6 ASCII characters followed by CR:
YY
Video input on bus 1 (from 01 to 04)
ZZ
Audio input on bus 1 (from 01 to 04)
YY
Video input on bus 2 (from 01 to 04)
ZZ
Audio input on bus 2 (from 01 to 04)
YY
Video input on bus 3 (from 01 to 04)
ZZ
Audio input on bus 3 (from 01 to 04)
YY
Video input on bus 4 (from 01 to 04)
ZZ
Audio input on bus 4 (from 01 to 04)
PLEASE NOTE
If the matrix responds 00 (namely 30 30 in line) then that output
is in high impedance for the video, and at 0 Volt for the audio.
P
active preset number
(from 0 to 7)
T
remote control enabled
(0=disabled, 1=enabled)
V
8
th
output used as a preview (0=output 4 normally used, 1 = preview output)
M
Mute status on preview
(from 0 to 3: like commando
mx
(cap. 7.13))
A
machine address on RS485 (from 0 to 7)
S
Speed Tx/Rx on RS485
(1=2400 bit/sec, 2=9600 bit/sec)
R
response time
(from 1 to 7, in multiples of 16ms, or from 16ms to 112ms)
CR
