- To adjust the height of the handle (fi gure 7) loosen the hexagonal screw A, adjust the desired
height and retighten the hexagonal screw A.
- To adjust the depth of the handle loosen screw B, adjust to the desired depth and then retighten
screw B.
If the patients tend to cross their legs and feet it may be necessary to use the foot divider L, to
counteract this pathological behaviour.
After all these preparations it is time to start with the introduction to the use of
movita
.

The height of the support for the armpit depends on the capacity to control the trunk. (If the indi-
vidual’s trunk control is good, the support should be lowered).
Also in this case it is suitable to start with the support right under the armpit and then to lower it as
the patient’s skills improve.
If there is a good trunk control, the support for the armpit can be removed.
It is therapeutically advisable to arrive at a position where shoulders, trunk and hips are on the
same line.
