ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATION
movita
functions in a very easy and secure way: the lack of balance is compensated with a large
surface of support; this gives the patient the possibility to move on casters/wheels using his own
force.
Even though the use of
movita
is simple and secure, a good introduction by the dealer/therapist
is necessary.
There are instructions to be considered for the optimal use of this support.
Start-up:
The standing- and walking support
movita
is delivered in two parts: base frame with wheels and
brakes, and the upper frame with saddle and thoracic ring. Under the seat you fi nd the allen key.
Assembly of the upper frame and the base:
The upper frame is placed on the base, with the desired height adjusted via the lever clamps.
Regulation of the standing-and walking support:
When the patient is put into the standing-and walking support, close the thoracic ring (fi gure 5),
and then adjust the height of the following components:
1. thoracic ring ( lever clamps fi gure 6B)
2. seat (lever clamp fi gure 6A)
Height of thoracic ring and seat:

To adjust the thoracic ring height, loosen the two lower release handles (fi gure 6B). After reaching
the desired height, tighten the handles again; both sides must have the same height; the height can
